I was rescheduled 3 times for my Moes procedure. Went, was cut open, and was rescheduled for the close of my wound. Moes is supposed to be in house pathology. It will be a week before the gaping hole in my back will be closed. She slapped a bandaid on it, literally, and said I’d be fine. If I didn’t call in sick to work the next week, it would have been 2 weeks till the wound would be closed. Now let’s talk about the possibility the margins of my procedure are still not clean. I love and respect Dr. Tarantola. Sarah her PA. Is so caring, help you in anyway, goes out of her way to explain what she is doing and what to expect. I had a problem witha medication .. Sarah heard about it she came to my rescue. She is one I totally trust with my health. Thank you Dr Tarantola for Sarah.
I’m a reformed sun worshipper paying the price for years of skin abuse. Two MOHS surgeries down with Dr. T and I’m amazed at what a brilliant surgeon she is. Not to mention her PA Sarah is the most wonderful! The staff amazing. One big family that you get to be a part of and come out cancer free and unscathed. What an asset to our small city. Thank you Dr. T.
My experience was not good and I base this over several years. From her beside manner and rude manner of speaking to both me and her staff, her billing department and their errors and rudeness even when they were at fault, and her failure to respond following problems after a procedure. Never again.
I was nervous about the Mohs treatment but Dr Tarantola put my fears to rest and the result was perfect! She is the best!
Staff and Dr. T were so friendly and easy to talk with, such a Great Expirence.
I have nothing but good things to say about this Doctor and her staff. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs Mose surgery. One comment would be (if you see her in the Fairhope office) that you take a blanket and a cushion. ??

While Dr Tarartola is a skilled surgeon her staff was rude and billing practices are unethical. The receptionist was not friendly and acted like she does not want to be there. I got a surprise bill for a post op wound check as an office visit. I have had many surgeries with many doctors and never been charged for a post op visit. They know that insurance will not pay for a post op visit so they bill it as a routine office visit. When I contacted the office administrator she was rude tried to talk over me.
