The worker was extremely plain stupid. I think they could hire more knowledgeable
HIPPA means you can not SHARE info with out consent. It does NOT mean that you can not receive information. When a worried parent calls asking to speak with their child who is catatonic-BY DEFINITION they can not respond to the world appropriately. The job of the heath care provider is to COMMUNICATE with the family and the patient -who is capable of signing a release if asked. THIS HOSPITAL WILL BE SUED
Total joke. They don't help anyone. Released my son after him staying in a room alone for a few hrs. Pretty much just took him saying, no I don't have a plan to kill myself. When he did. He just didn't want in there. He fakes it to make it. I'll sue if he does do it.
