All they want to do is put you in the hospital. They don't care about how you feel. Every time I call, I feel like I am the problem, not that I have a problem. US mental health care is a joke. If I could, I'd rather kill myself than receiving "help". There is no help in this country.
Truly deserves a big fat ZERO!!!! Called today for a friend claiming he was going to commit suicide. I called crisis to begin an involuntary admit to a psych hospital because he refused. They patched me through to the state cops. They went to him. Then they told me and his mother that it's not their job to do an involuntary admit (AKA a 302) and crisis can do it. This man was in dire need of help and I was told after repeatedly calling crisis that I did everything that I could and to "let it go". I'm having issues fathoming ... read more
If I could give 0 stars I would, I called crisis intervention and the lady was no help, she had an attitude, she wouldn’t talk so it was a lot of dead silence, I ended up hanging up. And I’ve been waiting forever for a psychiatrist I’ve gone through 3 different ones and they all left, I was told I’ll have a new one in 3 months, it’s been 5 almost six and I need help with my medications that aren’t helping with my panic attacks, ptsd, anxiety and depression, I’m falling apart here and pennstate holy spirit doesn’t care
Totally useless. Why doesn't holy spirit have a dr on call for metal health situations 9n whe weekend. Omg!
Horrible ability to deal with crisis. I was calling about a family member and they completely dismissed me because I live in a different state. Completely incompetent at dealing with crisis and should be disbanded and started anew from the ground up. If you have a loved one struggling or you have lost someone ..these people are incapable and you should continue with much caution.
