RecommendedI have a six-year-old niece who has been taking classes here since January. Kyoshi and the other teachers lead with a balance of rigor and patience. My niece has been learning and training at her own pace. Her form and skills are very impressive for such a young girl. The goal of the school is self-defense training, but also self-confidence, respect and maturity. I highly recommend Crescent Moon.
I Really Recommend Crescent Moon Karate. The instructors are extremely nice with the kids. My kids love it ! Not only they learn how self defense is used , it also makes the kids how to socialize and be more confidence
I highly recommend this dojo. My kids love the attention they get since the first day they step in the Matt. They have learn a lot and also the discipline and respect. Great instructor makes the class fun with very flexible hours. Highly recommended.
Cresent Moon Karate is definitely the highlight of my son's week. He looks forward to it and absolutely loves it. I would highly recommend picking Cresent Moon!
My daughter has been a member of this Dojo for a few years now. She LOVES it. The blackbelts are so supportive. I have begun to take classes too and love how the instructors are with the adults as well. Occasionally my daughter sits and watches my class and has to do homework. I will often look up (while I'm gasping for air and sweating like a pig) and see one of the blackbelts sitting with her, helping her with homework. One of the best karate classes available in Los Angeles, it has really helped my kids with their confidence
We love Kyoshi and his team of black belts. My daughter has been practicing at Crescent Moon Karate for a year and a half and I've seen such a difference in her. My daughter is a bit on the shy side and now I see her rising her hands in school and class more.
My Son Loves Training With Sensei Keyoshi, He Learns A lot Of fighting Techniques, and Discipline.
