I thought a crescent kayak was going to be my dream kayak. The kayak itself is great. The website to order accessories from, has me so disappointed that I'm about ready to sell or return the kayak and go with a different brand so I never have this problem again ordering accessories. I got the light tackle II, which I was already a tad disappointed that it didn't come with a catch bag. Edit: Got in contact with Crescent over email. The Carrollton location is closed. They are based out of South Carolina now, likely closer to their molders. Very indifferent customer service. Sad to see a cool brand leave the area, even sadder to be a prospective customer and be treated with indifference. Disappointment sums it all up pretty well. Horrible customer service. I have sent four emails over the last two weeks and the company has not responded to any of them. I have also tried calling them nearly everyday for the past two weeks and the company has not answered. I am happy with my product (Crescent Crew), but it is difficult to recommend a company that doesn’t support their customers. Bought a crescent crew a couple months ago. On the 4th trip out I noticed the seat had bent. I realized I could bend the frame seat with my hands. I filed a warranty claim. I have been waiting 3 weeks for my replacement seat to ship. I have been told numerous lies about when it will. The kayak was a great boat but obviously the seat is of inferior quality.
