My favorite place to eat in Hattiesburg. I've never ordered anything I didn't love and service is impeccable!
I really wanted to love my dining experience--ate there about 18 months ago, and the Crawfish Portabellla was wonderful. This time, my Crabcakes Orleans was very salty, and my waiter disappeared--never refilled my tea, which he said he would do. I was there early, before the crowd, so no excuse.
Great service, great food, reasonably priced. My waiter was handling a large party as well as us, but our drink glasses never ran empty.
Authentic NOLA flair, in both atmosphere and cuisine. The service was great. I enjoyed an authentic sloppy roast beef poboy. I felt like I was in the French Quarter, dining in a long time established restaurant. How lovely! I can’t wait to go back, next time I’m in the area.
I was very disappointed. I ordered the vegetable platter with 4 oz of the fresh catch of the day. The snapper I received tasted terrible. No seasoning, just plain with a slice of lemon. I asked for some melted butter to help give it some taste, but it didn't help.
My husband and I ordered a bowl of gumbo. When it arrived, his was good, but mine was room temperature. I told my server who quickly apologized and brought me another piping hot bowl. He was very courteous.
