I brought my VW in a few months ago because the ABS indicator light was on. They said that I would need a new ABS control unit and quoted me a price just over $1000 for parts and labor and I would have to pre-pay for the part which was about $800. I needed a few weeks to get the money together and when I did I walked over with the estimate and told him I was ready to have the repair done. good friendly service – I'm from out of town and had car trouble. Crescent City was nearby. I got there early and dropped the car off. They checked it out within an hour and completed the repair before noon, all for a reasonable charge. The guys in the shop were very friendly and didn't try to do more than I asked them to look at.
Honest and Helpful – Kevin and the other guys are extremely personable, knowledgeable and HONEST, a rare quality for mechanics. As a young woman, I have experienced mechanics who try to take advantage of me because they think I don't know what I'm talking about. From the first time I walked in here I felt comfortable and was never lied to. They do great work for the most reasonable prices, and my car has lasted longer because of it. Awful Customer Service – THere is nowhere to park your car if you tow it there. you have to leave your car somewhere on magazine street if the tow truck can get it into a spot. In addition, these people have no idea what it means to serve a customer and leave them happy. THey think simply because they have a great location they can take their customers for granted. Don't go here!
