My girlfriend died 2012. Her sister lived out of state and could not make it into town for the cremation or memorial service. I don't remember who handled the paperwork at the time but the woman was polite, thoughtful, knowledgeable and very helpful in procuring the necessary documents. I was grateful for Cremation Society of Ky in helping me get through a difficult time.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Cremation Society of Kentucky. Shanna was awesome. I felt no pressure whatsoever to buy anything extra. She was helpful, informative, and a genuinely nice person. They were very willing to work with us on the container that we wanted to use for my dad's ashes. The lid for it was broken and she could have easily tried to talk us into buying one of their urns to use. Instead she quickly came up with a solution for our container. No one looks forward to the death of a family member but Shanna truly did an awesome job taking care of us. She was very caring, patient and understanding. We were very emotional but the service here was outstanding. Nancy no longer works there. I would recommend the Cremation Society to anyone.

This place is a joke. The director Nancy is clueless and extremely unhelpful. While we were in our initial meeting discussing my mom's arrangements she rudely took two phone calls. She didn't cash the check for my moms cremation until over a month after we wrote it. She didn't handle the proper paperwork for my moms death certificate and/or didn't provide us the right guidance to obtain it.
