I recently went for an assessment for detox. The nurse was lovely. But I felt horrible after I saw the doctor. I won’t go into all The details but he said I “just barely meet the threshold to be accepted into detox” (I drink 14-20oz of vodka a day along with other substances) because I haven’t had a seizure YET. And then he questioned me TWICE on how I get the money to do the amount of substances I do. What type of addictions doctor does that?! I'm only giving it 3 stars because the staff is supportive attentive. The bathrooms facility is clean. How ever the food omg early edibles feel like it would be what prison food
The doctor did not listen to me despite my personal experience on the medication they were trying to give me and taking away my prescribed medication that would have actually been of help with detoxing (not a narcotic) , and was misinformed about what said medication is used for. Go anywhere else than here. Mic however was a joy to be around.
