The state I found the apartment in was disgusting. Bathroom had pee stains on toilet and shower, the mattress came with multiple stains including a big red one, and there was dirty underwear in the dresser. Even after cleaning thoroughly, I still find an ant, spider, or small roach every 2 or 3 days. I got the apartment because I'm on a budget, but if I could back I would have spent $200 more on rent a month for a bug-free, clean, apartment.
Well the Creekside apartments used to have the nickname “Crackside apartments” for a reason… any recent “renovations” they claim to have done just aren’t enough, this place is still quite dumpy. Creekside Apartments housed both of our sons during their years at CU—five years total—and overall, we had a very positive experience. The building and apartments are older, which is the only reason for the 4-star rating, but the landlords, Kevin and Ann, are 5 stars all the way. They’re on-site, responsive, and truly care—Kevin even answered a late-night call when water leaked into the apartment. Living here is pretty chill. Management has been straight forward and kind. Maintenance is quick to respond. + easy access to alot of bus lines
