Wish I could give zero stars! After triage, we were told the ER wait time would be around 3 hours — but after over 5 hours, we still hadn’t seen a doctor. My 3-year-old was clearly in distress, yet we received no updates, support, or sense of urgency from the staff. The lack of communication and compassion is deeply disappointing. No family should have to go through this, especially not with a suffering child.
The staff are very friendly! We went into thinking that the staffs are going to be busy and ignore us, but every staff that we’ve encountered has been extremely friendly.
Nurses here are angels. Had a great experience with my childbirth. They communicate well, keep you informed. Take care of the patient very dearly. I really loved how my doctor handled my case. It was truly amazing experience. The only downside was the portion size of meals they serve. It’s inadequate. The hospital is clean , well maintained and managed.
No one likes spending 6.5 hours in the Emergency Department at a hospital. But, if you have to do so Credit Valley Hospital is amazing! The staff such as Alex (1st RN contact), Annie, Mariam, Judy, Vito, Randy have great people skills and are up to date on medical conditions. The ER doctors are amazingly attentive, calm, thorough, and provide an excellent "After Visit Summary" for patients to keep with follow up recommendations. If I could, I would give it a zero. Every time we visit gets worse and worse. Today we had a terrible experience! Child in pain waited 6 hours just to see a doctor. Plus time to see him after xray. We were sitting and watching people who registered after us were treated and released. Absolute disaster
