RecommendedI love this place! The owner is very kind and you can tell that the employees enjoy working there. My dog looked amazing after her grooming. She was also super happy and tired after boarding her there for the weekend. They are also reasonably priced! I’ve tried a bunch of groomers in the area and this is the only place that grooms my Cockapoo the way I like it. I would definitely recommend checking them out!
Our doggy loves Creatures Great & Small! He looks forward to doggy daycare everyday! Katie and her staff are wonderful! So glad we found the perfect place for our pup!
I evacuated due to a hurricane. My two big dogs, while allowed in the hotel, were having a tough time. I knew kenneling would be better, and I found this place by sheer luck. Not only were my pups welcome, the kennel offered a 20% discount to evacuees. Many would hike rates in this situation; CG&S lowered theirs. 💕 I picked up my dogs this morning to return home. It’s obvious they were well cared for in their temporary home. Charlottesville pet owners have a gem in their midst.

I brought my 12 year old, shaggy, long haired, mixed breed dog here after years of trying to groom her on my own. She did not tolerate my grooming well at all and always looked like she had been moth eaten, so I thought I would give Creatures Great & Small a try. She looked fabulous when they were finished with her and she behaved much better for them than she ever has for me. And she was happy when I picked her up. I will be a repeat customer for sure.

Just picked our dog up and who would have thought that you had to ask for them to bath your dog when grooming. So now after his morning at the dog spa I have to spend my evening bathing him.

Mrs. Branch, you dog was bathed and your husband certainly seemed quite pleased when he picked up your dog. He was bathed before his haircut to avoid dulling my equipment. However, if you are displeased I would be happy to refund your fees 100� So sorry, I tried to follow your husband's instructions. Your dog was a delight to hand dry. The only thing I can think of is that we do not use perfumes and colognes. We have severe allergies to perfumes and colognes as do many clients and pets. So we do not use them.
