Incredibly disappointing. I booked an appointment with Patricia for a cut and long layers and these are the worst layers I have ever seen. They were incredibly blunt with no blending when I left the salon and realized how bad it looked I was embarrassed to be out in public with my hair looking like that. I called Patricia and asked if she could soften out the layers which she agreed to do. Even after her attempt at softening the layers I still have two distinct layers of hair. John David is easily the best stylist I've ever had. I cannot overstate what a great job he does. He takes his time and makes sure that you walk out feeling totally comfortable with the awesome job that he's done. Seriously, the best ever. Second place isn't even close either. Definitely try to book John David. You'll be glad you did.
Terrible haircut by John David. My hair was about 4 inches long I asked how a bob would look and he said no. I told him to cut it but leave it long enough so I can curl it with a curling iron. I came home looking like a man!!! Short half inch bangs which look awful hair so short can’t curl for church so I had to invest in a wig until this mess grows out. My family was shocked! Punk rockers have more hair than I do.
Had my first appointment with Shelley, and she was fantastic! I was a little nervous about switching to a new stylist, but she nailed it—I couldn't be happier with my highlights and cut!
Creative Roots has been such a wonderful salon to go to since we moved to the area! John David cuts my husband's, my son's, and my hair and does a phenomenal job every time. My son historically hasn't enjoyed getting haircuts, but has LOVED getting to see John David. We are so grateful for John David and Creative Roots in this community.
