Creative Homes continues to disappoint. They have a warranty to replace trees that die on our property during the first year. Now, they refuse to replace a tree after their arborist confirmed it was dead. Overall, so difficult working with the unethical team at CH.

My wife and I started looking to downsize and move closer to the cities a few years ago. We did the usual Parade of Homes tours in the metro area to get ideas and see what was available. We wanted to get into a new home without snow and yard maintenance, but didn’t want a traditional townhouse. I purchased a home from Creative Homes, which is due to be complete at the end of the month. When I first met the builder's rep, I asked whether or not the kitchen and bathroom drawers were "soft close" and he said yes, so I didn't think it would be necessary to make it part of our contract. Now that I'm about to move in, I see they're not and they won't change them. I also was able to pick out my lights, and the wrongs ones have been installed in 2 places. I purchased a CH house and will be moving in, in November. I wish I had gotten every single detail put into writing because there were things that the builder's rep promised, that just aren't being done now. One example is, I initially asked whether or not the cabinet drawers were soft close, and he said yes. So, I didn't get that in writing, and it turns out they won't be, and I'm just going to have to live with very cheap cabinets along with several other things like not getting the lights I picked out.
