It is so cool to stop into Creative Forces Gifts & Sundries and see the local art from artists of so many different styles. There is always something new and Carolyn is always so helpful and a pleasure to talk to. Even though this is located in a hotel, it is not just for out of towners. This is a great place to go to support your local art scene and small independent artists and an amazing independent shop owner.
Anyone in Tacoma who might be looking for beautiful, hand-crafted, reasonably-priced gifts... do NOT miss this fabulous shop. It is full of a wide variety of unique treasures, and Carolyn is wonderful. She treated us as though we had been friends for years.

This is a lovely little store with all kinds of different art and gifts. There is a little something for everyone here. Plus, meeting the owner is worth the stop.
My daughter found this place when she attended a convention in Tacoma. She couldn't wait to take me there when I visited her last week. We spent over an hour in this shop and came away with some wonderful gifts. I definitely recommend this shop to everyone.
