I came in recently just to remove gel from my pedicure. The staff were polite, but the acetone smell in the salon was extremely strong. After a few minutes my nose and throat started feeling irritated, and I wasn’t able to stay for the full pedicure. The workers were all wearing face masks and offered me one, which I appreciated, but wearing a mask isn’t really a comfortable solution when customers come to relax, breathe normally, and enjoy services like pedicures. After a disappointing experience at Royal Nails in Oceanside, I decided to visit this nail salon after calling to inquire about their prices. I’m so glad I did! The gentleman who did my nails is truly an artist — not only did he recreate the design I showed him perfectly, but the result exceeded my expectations. The blend and detail are absolutely beautiful. The staff is sweet and attentive. But i feel like they didn’t do a great job with my nails. Zero nail care and prep and the polish is a little shabby. The insides of my nails were not cleant properly after they were done so that’s a little weird. I was surprised that my nails were not prepped before putting in the acrylics. Everything else was pretty fine.
Very disappointed with my visit with my daughter and some friends. I asked in advance if they could accommodate us and they accepted. They then kept sushing them anytime they laughed. Do not recommend this place. It also smells very strong as soon as you walk in.
Unfortunately this was one of the worst manicures I’ve gotten. People were very nice but that’s the only positive. I was there for almost 2 hours getting a dip manicure only. I’m not exaggerating when I tell you this girl tried to buff and shape the dip layers for 45mins. My sister was done 45mins before me and her nails are great. Mine were so thick and uneven and the clear top coat was yellowing the next day. They are also so thick they are lifting off my nail.
