HISTORIC HOME OWNERS BEWARE: At no point in this process were we warned that encapsulating the crawl space could damage/destroy a historic home's beautiful, original hardwood flooring. Since encapsulating ours, our beautiful hardwoods are creaking, cracking, breaking, and have become brittle and warped. If we had known this was a possibility, we never would have encapsulated.

They did a fantastic job of soda-blasting the mildew that had started to grow on the subflooring and then installed the seemingly impenetrable plastic sheeting all across the ground and up the sides of the cinder block walls.
