Saved money, beautified my yard! Just bought 3 azalea bushes for my back yard and a Japanese Maple for the front. They were all on sale. I got 50% off on the bushes. There was no guarantee on the plants that were half price, but Cravens has such good stuff, they should do fine. The sales person told me to use a root stimulator when I planted them to give them a good start. I can't wait for spring when their impatiens come in! =]
Great Discounts on Trees and Shrubs I have been going to Cravens Nursery for more than 25 years. They have the best price/selection/service combination I have found. The salespeople are very knowledgeable and helpful. Cravens has thousands of the most beautiful ceramic pots. I have about three dozen,so far! They have great sales on their trees and shrubs. Some are as much as 75% off, but there is no guarantee if you get a discount of 25% or more. I have recommended it to all my family and friends.

Customer Serivce is Lousy Called for an design estimate. Made an appointment at 2pm and the designer showed up early but left before I showed up at 2. Waited 30 minutes then called the main office. They said, just wait for him some more, he is probably running behind from another appointment. Took down his cell number and called him to find out he had been there and left. Landscaping Assistance My church did a community service project for a group home for adults with intellectual disabilities. A staff member from Craven's listened to the project and made great suggestions for plants and shrubs. Can't beat Cravens! Cravens Nursery is hands down THE BEST! I'm a news reporter, in the business of gathering facts, so I check references and take time to compare bids. Lack of follow up 40% of the landscape companies don't even return phone calls, or don't show once an estimate time is set up. Cravens did, and quickly. I even felt that the representative doing the estimate listened to what I wanted without bad mouthing the ideas of reuse and recycle where possible. That was the 17th of JUN 06. Great price, terrific work In February of this year, I got three quotes on installing a walkway, building a dry stack retaining wall, removing old cement-edged planting beds and replacing with new ones edged with dry stack. Craven's was a third of the price of one place and half the price of the other. Plus, we got a 10% discount because it was a slow time of year. super busy We went last weekend based on a friend's recommendation. I know it was the weekend but it was so crowded and they had very few people out to help. I asked at the front desk (after waiting in line) and she said that they had 2 people call in sick-that's why it was hard to find someone. They should have called in someone else, because we ended up leaving when we couldn't find help
