The manager answered my phone call and addressed my car issue immediately. Very knowledgeable and also very fair in terms of pricing.
Hands down the best mechanic in town. He’s real sharp, knows the common issues with each type of car, and gives y’all straight advice on how to keep things running smooth. Prices are super fair, and you always feel like you’re getting honest work without the runaround.
I’m a young woman who moved to Austin on my own and I’m SO grateful I found the guys at Crank. They’ve helped me with multiple car issues at very fair prices. They’ve always made me feel comfortable and never push me into getting extra services done, which I feel some mechanics have done in the past when they can tell I’m not very knowledgeable on cars. Truly kind and honest people running this place.
I did not wind up buying a car here. However, these folks were super honest with me and even did me solid on where to go for good financing terms. The only reason I didn’t buy from them is I found the same car with less mileage someplace else. Of course I also paid a little more for the car I got. I would trust these folks to be true to their word about anything. That’s super rare these days.
