Great stop with the kids after hiking and playing. Cute shop with a decent selection of scoop ice cream. Everyone enjoyed their treat.
Want to try this place but the hours are SO inconvenient. Not open on Sundays, only open til 4pm on week days so forget going there anytime after working hours. Basically the only day you can go there is Saturday but hopefully you don’t want it for an after dinner treat because even on Saturday they close at 6pm. Save yourself the hassle and go to Love Creamery.
I really really want to love this shop esp because it’s so close to my house and the ice cream is solid but their hours are unreliable. We planned a little family outing there today as it was the perfect summer day. Checked the hours online and it said they closed at 6 (on a Saturday!). Called and the message said they were open until 8pm. Walked over with our toddler and they were closed at 7pm. The only saving grace was the Scoop on 47th which was open and just two blocks away! Satisfied toddler!
We LOVE Crank & Dasher Ice Cream. Delicious. HOWEVER--my husband just came from the Lakeside Store after purchasing 2 ice cream containers (1 small 1 big) from the freezer. He came home upset. The associate behind the counter did not say "hi" or offer any help. He had never been in the store before and he did not know how to purchase the ice cream.
