I had know of Dr Zalvan for years being a former Voice Professor at the Mozartina Musical Arts Conservatory in Tarrytown and being a Classically trained singer but this was my first time as a patient. I found the doctor to be caring, and informative pinpointing that my vocal chords looked in good vocal shape without any swelling or nodules as he scoped me, but only weak due to a recent upper respiratory virus that he said only time and vocal therapy and going slow in my practice sessions time alone would heal. This is my 3rd visit to Dr Zalvan and every time I learn from him and I am enthusiastic about my journey to improving and maintaining a good health.
Dr. Zalvan is an original thinker who is able to explain what I need to know about my condition and what I can do to be well. He invites me to learn more so that I can self-regulate my own health.
Dr. Zalvan is great! Knows a lot even outside just what I came in for. Takes the time to explain things and has great bedside manner.
He was knowledgeable, thorough and very efficient in terms of time.
This was a follow/up visit. I did most of what Dr Zalvan suggested over the last 2 months and all of my symptoms are gone. I feel much better.
Caring and knowledgeable
During the time I’ve been seen by Dr Zalvan he’s listened to the history of the cough and tried several ways to help. I can’t believe the difference from my initial visit to this one. He’s a wonderful doctor!
