Dr. Zalvan's treatment and swallow therapy restored my now 73 year old husband's ability to swallow. He had a feeding tube after a spinal cord injury in 2016 and had been told by Mount Sinai's Rehabilitation Hospital that there was little more that could be done. Under Dr. Zalvan's care, his swallow was restored and he has been able to eat normally (small bites, lots of water). When I first saw Dr. Zalvan I had been suffering with a terrible cough for over 5 years. I walked into his office and within minutes he diagnosed my problem. After seeing my GP, a Pulmonologist and an Allergist and trying a multitude of prescriptions I finally had an answer. He took time to explain what needed to be done and we began treatment almost immediately. I am forever grateful to Dr. Zalvan and highly recommend him!
He was arrogant - actually told me that I was mis-diagnosed in the past (even though there was no evidence of what I had in the past) and that he wouldn't have mis-diagnosed me

Dr. Zalvan is thorough and takes the time to explain everything; ensuring that everythingis understood. I love that he thinks out of the box and isn't quick to prescribe medications when alternative methods are available. So happy I found him, highly recommend!
It was wonderful he was so happy and optimistic … I will always appreciate him for what he did for me
The Dr. provided excellent care during my visit. He solved the condition and prescribed necessary medications so that I’ll feel better soon. My follow up is in 3 weeks to make sure the infection is cleared up.
