Inaccurately diagnosed my son as having toenail fungus and treated him as that for over a year. Made comments when we came back as his treatment was not working. We tried a new podiatrist a few months ago who sent samples out to a lab and found out he does NOT have fungus. She accurately diagnosed and treated it within 2 weeks. Disappointing that he just didn’t even really try.
When he keeps an appointment he is fine. Has cancelled 2 of my 3 appointments. No longer does Diabetic Foot Care. Must be nice to not care about existing patients and not even provide a recommendation. Save yourself a cancelled appointment and find someone else.
Dr. Wirt is one of the best podiatrists in Illinois.
