Worst experience we have ever had. Done at a Woodlands Surgical center that released him via a "FaceTime" PT evaluation. BTW, not TOPS (they are excellent. Also they filled him full of morphine that morning. At the first surgeon visit after surgery, Dr. Winkler asked him if he fell because his knee cap was broken. He could have owned up that he broke it and put it back in cockeyed. He has been in constant pain since this replacement last November and is having corrective surgery by another surgeon this month. Excellent surgeon! Had great result with my right hip replacement! I would highly recommend Dr. Winkler to anyone needing a new joint! Dr Miller-ER physician
I honestly hate saying anything negative, it is not in my nature. But I feel a need to share this. I had a total hip on April 22. No one from the office or the dr himself ever called to check up on me! Not once! Then on May 6th my femur fractured as I tried to get on the toilet. I did NOT fall, I twisted, pain level was a 10!!!. I called the office to ask which hospital they preferred I go to as we were driving. The on call dr said go to the nearest hospital.
