His negligence in not identifying stitches cutting off circulation to tissue resulted in a large open wound. (Tissue decayed splitting open the area) His apparent lack of knowledge and misguidance in healing wounds resulted in an unnoticed (by him) and untreated staph infection in the wound. He then acted very unprofessionally, making the comment that the treatments of that wound were a waste of his time. I had mohs surgery on a squamous cell carcinoma on my face near my eye yesterday. Every staff member I encountered was wonderful. Kim the RN, Dr. Naugle and Stacy the PA were all patient, kind, gentle and answered all my questions. Today I got to remove my dressing and see their handy work. Minimal swelling and the sutures look fabulous. No pain today just soreness. I highly recommend this office! Thank you so very much!
Does not follow MOHS standards of care, resulting in disfiguring infection. Does not inform pt of likely difficulty of surgery & prolonged recovery time. Uses unqualified individuals to do portions of surgery which standards require done by doctors.
Uses untrained & unqualified assistants to do portions of major surgery normally done only by MD’s—increasing his reimbursement. Does not clean or sterilize operative site prior to surgery. Did not provide adequate preop inform
great doctor. my husband was very nervous about this surgery and the doctor put him completely at ease. would reccommend this doctor and office very highly.
When I was 27 years old I had a basal cell carcinoma on my cheek under my eye. It required MOHS surgery. Due to his care and surgical expertise the scar is virtually undetectable. If I ever require facial MOHS surgery again in my lifetime, I would travel any distance to see Dr. Naugle.
