extremely disappointed., Despite several requests, there was no personal follow up from Dr. Vogel regarding a potential cardiac issue after completing a full exam with him 30 days ago.
I've been seeing Dr. Vogel for 8 or so years. I haven't had any issues yet, but I have confidence that when I do (it's inevitable) Dr. Vogel will be able to guide me through them. One of the things I do find helpful about Dr. Vogel is that he is very supportive of second opinions. I saw another doctor because I was concerned with my high lipid levels (genetic) and Dr. Vogel was very open to it. Dr. Vogel, He is very attentive and always caring and understanding. He really listens to you and hears you. I know that sounds weird, but today this attribute is rare !

I was scheduled for surgery on a Friday, and on the pre-op the Monday before my blood pressure was too high to be cleared, so I had to see a cardiologist. I got a referral for Dr. Vogel, and the office staff got me in the next day. Dr. Vogel went over my history and explained that I needed a stress test before I could be cleared. Even though it was only 3 days before my surgery was scheduled, he arranged a stress test on that Wednesday, even though they do not normally do stress tests that day. Dr. Vogel has been my cardiologist for the past 5 years and I am very pleased with his concern and proactive approach to my condition. I would highly recommend him.
I am fortunate to be Dr Vogel’s patient. The practice is efficiently run. The doctor is totally orthodox in his approach to treatment but he let me try something outside his recommendation as long as my numbers stayed in the recommended range. On his staff is another excellent cardiologist, Dr Aggarwal, who is less orthodox and is more open to the effects of nutrition and supplements, so IMO it is a well rounded practice. Anyone needing post cardiac care would do very well with Dr Vogel.
