My wife did not have a good experience. He is lacking bedside manner so she had to change doctors. He is short and unfriendly.
Dr Fern is an excellent physician. I was treated a few years ago by him for a retinal tear. The laser repair was successful and had healed exceptionally well. Even my regular ophthalmologist compliments the work each year at my annual exam. This recent visit was due to symptoms of flashes & floaters. Thankfully after a thorough examination Dr Fern assured me that I had a posterior vitreous tear. Unfortunately, he also clarified this was inevitable with normal aging.
