I went to Dr. Dushey when I had a torn labrum which he diagnosed and operated on in 2014. I went back to see him a year or so later complaining of continuing pain in the same area. He had me get a cortisone shots to try to help with what he seemed to think was hip pain. The shot didn't help and the second time I went back Dushey was completely dismissive of my complaints about my pain and actually flicked his hand at me to waive away my complaint when I asked if maybe the pain was due to a small cyst located in the same area... read more
A very caring doctor, very personable, takes all the time needed to listen and explain what's going on, what he recommends and why. Friendly people in the office. Office facilities were recently renovated and look new. X-ray facilities are on site, so you don't have to schedule a separate appointment to go to a radiologist, he could see the results right away and devise a treatment plan. I had to wait a few days to get an appointment with him, and had to wait a bit for him, but it was worth it.
He is a great surgeon who happens to also care about his patients, taking time to explain all procedures and address concerns. I had visited several a few other doctors before for my hip problem and found Dr. Dushey “the best”. As a quite picky person I can whole heartily recommend him.
