Dr. Gerstein has been a sight saver. I had the most disappointing experience with another Dr. When I had cataract surgery. The lens that was put in my eye to correct my sight was the wrong not only once but twice when I finally left that Dr. I found this wonderful Dr Gerstein which during the exam informed me that I needed 3rd surgery to correct my sight, I am so grateful that he was able to correct my sight. I recommend him 100% he definitely knows his profession and I’m living proof. Thank you Dr Gerstein
I have been going to Dr. Gerstein (both father and son) for over 20 years. They have treated many family and friends and Dr. Craig Gerstein removed cataracts for both of my parents. Great surgeon and the staff is always friendly and welcoming.

For 30+years I was a patient of Craig Gerstein’s father, (Melvyn Gerstein), who retired last year. I have seen Craig Gerstein a few times and I’m sorry to say I have no confidence in him. his diagnosis of my problem was entirely different from his father’s.
Dr Craig performed cataract surgery several years ago on me and the results were terrific. My vision is still perfect and Dr Craig has taken care of my eyes since. Highly recommend his practice.
rude. sent me a bill after I was clear about wanting only what was covered by my insurance
First time in my life I went for an eye exam to Dr. Gerstein; he dilated my eyes, and after that eyes become very sensitive to the light, so he was holding a flash light and a magnifying glass directly at my eyes. A few days later, a growth appeared in my eyes. So, I went back to Dr. Gerstein, and he told me I need a surgery. I had no problems with my eyes at all, now lots of problems after seeing this criminal doctor. That is how he makes his money, he will do some damage to your eyes, so y
I had an ECCE-IOL (cataract operation) done by Dr. C. Gerstein. The tech had a hard time getting measurements from the affected eye. Dr. Gerstein said just use the other eye. The result is that he put in a lens that is off by six diopters, leaving me functionally blind unless I wear a very powerful contact lens. It also means I cannot wear glasses, because of anisometropia.
