Everything went fine. I appreciate the on time schedule managed by the office. They do a good job.
My previous dentist retired and so I recently started with Dr. Downer. I had a very old large filling fall out and needed my first crown. I was amazed that there was NO discomfort at all. It was an amazing experience, especially since in comparison to my prior fillings, the crown was by far more pleasant. In addition, I did not need a temporary crown since Dr. Downer can sculpt the crown in about 13 minutes (see video) and fire it to be ready in another 15 minutes. The dental hygienist that worked on me today seemed to be lacking in her skill set. I held my mouth open for more than average. My jaws hurt. She asked about a bite block but I declined. I’ve never had a problem in my life. As a patient I gave her many clues indicating to possibly take a little more time. I had dry mouth and she only sprayed water 4 times for the entire cleaning.
