I had a LAR surgery for cancer with Dr Reickert in August. Surgery went well and I couldn’t be happier with Dr Reickert. He’s professional and personable. I would highly recommend him if you’re having Colorectal issues.
Dr. Reickert was awful to my father. He came in and said there’s nothing he could do and we should look into signing him up for hospice. We of course got another opinion from a different colorectal surgeon who said it would definitely be a challenge but he could do it, he performed the surgery and gave us 4 more years with my dad. Instead of putting his ego to the side and admitting that he was intimidated by the surgery and what it would involve- he told us hospice was the only option. Dr Rickert is the man
I had an operation that only one surgeon in Michigan did. He trained reickert to perform the surgery after he retired and Dr reickert has messed me up multiple times. Ive has numerous revisions surgeries done by him as he was the only surgeon who could do it. I traveled out of state to see other specialists that said they wouldn't touch me because of what Dr reickert did to me and I was a risk for them. Condensing, rolling his eyes at me, staff all the same way. Negative 4 stars. My doctor was not available and I read a review of the same behavior. I should have listened to the others. Bad attitude, and only is there for money. I'M a nurse and former Employee, so you would think that he would change a bit...nope. Jerk.. If you're female don't even bother..
