BBB accreditation was REVOKED (read all feedback/details in complaints), doesn't have a contractor license, website suspended & all recent reviews are negative. This may have been a “5 Star” contractor at one point but unfortunately, is no more. Any possible new customer should heed the warnings that are starting to surface. BBB rating was just REVOKED, contractor license is expired (revoked?) and all recent reviews are 1 star with several saying they would rate lower if possible. Any possible new customer should heed the warnings that weren't there when we took on the nightmare.
Some of these reviews make me think the reviewer didn't use this company. We did. We recommend Craftsman whole-heartedly. We had Craftsman Custom Builders (They do more than basements lately.) replace the old cedar decking with new composite we had already purchased and stored on-site. Ben did a super job for us and the deck really was the "feather in the cap" of a large landscaping / deck project for us which involved five separate trades working in concert. My wife and I have been very familiar with construction projects over the last 7 years. We purchased an older home in Black Forest, and shortly after moving in, decided to take the roof off and add a story. From the planning phase to the last finishing touches, he kept us updated on the progress and the upcoming steps. He answered all our questions and listened to our suggestions. His work crew was professional and very skilled. Even after the basement was finished, we stayed in touch.
