I dont eat out much as a Southerner trying to eat well. Everything is fried. This is one place I know I can get grilled chicken and steamed broccoli. The server at the Pensacola CrackerBarrel was great with my kids. Very friendly and attentive.
This place needs to get better management when manager David Hall tells a customer thats been waiting over 40 minutes past the said pickup time ,this isnt mcdonalds what do you want me to do about it, when you complain about the time, then tells me csll corporate I don't have time for this
Usual food and service. It was busy so a little louder than expected.
My daughter and I came here on a Tuesday. She had the chicken fried steak and I ordered pork chops, okra and mashed potatoes. The server recommended the chops and they were delicious. My daughter was very pleased with hers as well. The okra was perfectly done. Mashed potatoes a little hard on the bottom. Gravy was so good. Biscuits light as a feather. They are better than the denser, drier cornbread. In general we really enjoy Cracker Barrel.
Food and service were excellent. Out tea was kept refilled and take home boxes were brought out promptly when asked for.
