Cracker Barrel is not our first choice but we don't mind stopping at one every once in a while when on a road trip. We both agreed this was the worst food we have ever eaten at a CB. My husband had the fried catfish and I had the turkey and dressing dinner. He didn't even finish his fish which is unlike him. My meal reminded me of something you would get at a nursing home. We generally avoid chain restaurants, but the food, prices and decor at Cracker Barrel keep us coming.
I went on a Monday morning but the cook was very bad . Couldn’t scramble eggs , didn’t cook the steak right , everything just was bad . I give it 2 stars only because the waitress was nice lady. I still tipped her. It’s not her fault cook isn’t good. Wouldn’t recommend going on Monday. If the same cook is there.
Love their breakfast menu, pretty good pricing for all their food! Their service for curbside pickup isn’t great but other than that it’s a pretty nice restaurant & one of my favorite places to treat myself for breakfast/ brunch. Their pancakes & hashbrown casserole are beyond amazing!!
