Had lunch today. The blackened salmon was outstanding and delicious. Brooke was an awesome waitress and made lunch a pleasure.
I went to the Crab Shack with my Daughter and son-in-law, Grandson and brother. I had been there once before last year and it was very good, This visit was not good at all ! The Seafood platters were arranged ok but the fish appears to have been frozen, mushy inside and the crab cakes were not firm at all, no texture just mushy. Needless to say, I won't be back nor will I recommend it to anyone !!!!
The Crabshack has not only the best views on the James River, but the food and service never disappoint. When I am there I always love the quality of the seafood! No matter what I get I am always happy! The food is as equally as good as the service. I am always met with a warm welcome and waited on by a friendly, knowledgeable server. Not only will I continue to go back, but I will use this as gift certificates for the holiday season! Great food, great service, great prices!

Have enjoyed it everytime I've been there in the past 5 yrs . My favorite thing is the crab cake sandwich platter. I'll keep going back for more!
