I was staying at nearby hotel for Christmas 2024 visit and I had a Ventricular tachycardia cardiac arrest. dropped dead in hotel. no warning signs. I dropped to the floor unconscious, 1st tribute to my wife for jumping on my chest immediately starting CPR, while calling 911 for help. The EMS came in minutes and the Hospital had 5 Drs of all specialties at my side in minutes. my life was in their hands literally with minutes to spare before death or brain damage. Chris at the front desk/ check in was wildly unhelpful. Left before even being seen
They took amazing care of my partner after a sudden injury late in the evening. Everyone from the intake staff to the doctors was fast, courteous, and professional. It's obviously no fun to have to go the ER but if you have to go somewhere, you'll be in good hands here.
Honestly, I can't thank the staff at CPMC ER enough for the quality of care that was provided. I went two times in two days for two different causes, and Dr. Kumamoto, and Dr. Wagner, both provided extremely empathetic, and effective care. I know the US healthcare system is f'd and I was afraid to even go in because I am afraid to look at the bill, but between them and the several nurses whose names I wish I could remember, who came in just to talk to me because it was so clear my mental state was so bad, I know that no matt... read more
I was there Sunday cos I had a hard fall and landed on my left him and sprained my right ankle ! The took a X-ray then did a cat scan told me nothing was broken and said they were re,easing me ! Mind you I coukdn’t even walk cos of pain which got really bad ,they gave me a cane and I tried to walk and ended up falling again right in front of a doctor and nurses ,they wanted to only do another cat scan tho I didn’t land on same area , they whole time I was there which was from 10 am to 4 pm they never gave me anything for pai... read more
