Absolutely awful. When people need mental health services do not go here, they will just traumatize you further.
Horrible and discouraging! A therapist had given me the number to CS CPEP and urged me to call them if I found myself in a mental health crisis and needed immediate help… so, I did. Wow! What a mistake that was! I am beyond disappointed with the quality of any “help” that was offered. The woman I spoke with, Kylie, sounded indifferent and completely disinterested with my concerns. Despite a small portion of the staff, I had a terrible experience. As a first time admission, nothing was predictable. I was hardly told anything prior to its occurrence. I was not told I had to fully undress in front of staff. I was not told I had to show staff SH marks in front of those accompanying me. I had no idea what the room would look like, what the food for someone with an allergy would look like, etc. Post clothes change, I was sent to my room. This is the worst night shift operations in New York. The entire night staff has social and mental Trauma and they’re in charge of taking care of the incoming trauma patients. . What a complete joke they’re only mission is to prad and Poke Any incoming patient so the psychiatric people that are viewing via cameras and TeleMed will automatically make them involuntary submission to the psych ward.. Th that’s where they will bill the insurance for 3 to 14 days. This place is a puppy mill! Justice must be done
