BAD EXPERIENCE We had a VERY bad experience with Dr. Marmon (and Shady Grove Hospital) post-appendicitis surgery by Dr. Marmon. He did not recognize or did not care to recognize obvious signs of increasing illness. He was very difficult to talk to and never did acknowledge our accurate concerns. We ultimately moved my son to Childrens Hospital where he immediately received excellent care. We should have done this sooner, but I trusted my pediatrician's recomendation which turned out to be a BIG mistake.
Dr. Marmon Office Staff - Rude Dr. Marmon was very helpful and provided detailed information during our appointment for our son to get a circumsion. However, the difficulty in making the appointment and negative attitude from his staff cannot compensate for his staff poor behavior. I had to call the hospital where Dr. Marmon is in charge to request an appointment instead of his office. Love this pediatric group! Wish they weren't so overbooked always. Pros: I love the doctors here. They are all very knowledgable and friendly. My favorite pediatrician here is Dr. Smith. I also like Dr. Guarinello. The doctors really take the time to listen to you and make sure they've answered any questions and addressed any concerns you may have. They have improved on their wait-time immensely since I've been going to them. Two years ago, you could wait in the waiting room for 2 hours before getting taken back, just to wai... read more
Great Docs....but don't get sick The Doctors are great, but good luck getting an appointment if your child is sick. On 3 separate occasions I have been told they did not have appointments available for up to TWO days. On one of these occasions, my child was in the background screaming from an ear infection. After spending many hours in the waiting rooms of walk in clinics in the middle of a week day afternoon, I have transferred my children to another pediatrician. Professional Group Wonderful, caring doctors are here. My favorite is Dr. Brubaker but they are all very good and knowledgeable. The nurse is also very knowledgeable. I have been with this group for many years and only once (on a Saturday) did I have problems with getting my sick child seen. Highly recommend!
