Possibly the longest waiting ER time in Missouri. Bring supplies to shave because you'll be there that long. Maybe Cox should pause building new facilities for a while and hire some more staff!!
They r going to get somone killed. My father went there 67 year old with very high blood pressure. They had him waiting for over 8 1/2 hours and he still didn’t get seen. He got checked on maybe once or twice. While I was there I watched them roll a very confused old man out in the lobby and leave him unattended for 3 or more hours never checking on him he almost fell out of his wheel chair multiple times. I watched multiple people just give up and leave beacuse they waited for so long.
Worst place ever! My dad was brought here from the surgery wing with suspected heart attack. Checked vitals and told to have a seat. What the actual! Been waiting for 3 hours and haven't seen anyone since we had vitals taken. Do yourself a favor. Die at home and save the money! Unacceptable!!!
Took my daughter in for a good cut on her foot & waited for at least 4 hours in the waiting room with countless others that arrive after us go right back to a room.. what's the point of going to an emergency room if you wait half a day to get taken care of.. especially an open wound that needs treated asap..
Never have I ever seen such a display of indifference and disinterest in their jobs as what I saw at the ER at Cox 3 days ago. There was one sweet nurse who checked in on us and made sure a doctor came to see us after hours of waiting while my husband suffered excruciating shoulder pain. This guy (Greer?) was snarky and suggested we were trying to score opioids. In his defense, he appeared to be the only doctor working.
