No Chill in Palm Harbor I called COX because they are a big dealer in the Clearwater area and I need a new air conditioning system. I asked to speak to a salesman and was treated very rudely by the man who answered the phone. Business must be very good for COX as they don't want to be bothered by customers.
Highly Recommended Great service, technical knowledge and clean cut technicians! I was recommended to Cox A/C by a friend who was happy with the service he had received. I needed them to quote me on a new system for my recently purchased home at the time. Well they did a thorough job explaining to me; in layman's terms; what needed to be upgraded and what options were available. Promise the world and don't deliver Paid full price for 2 complete system replacements. After spending 2 years chasing Salesman Sean, Installation Manager Zack, and Owner Marty to make good on their promise I got nothing but lip service. When I brought the problems with the new systems to their attention they told me that I was wrong and that everything was done correctly. Cox Air Conditioning Poor customer service, poor technical ability. Make sure you get the persons name when booking an appointment as they will turn up at the wrong time. Miss-diagnosis of problems, merely stating AC unit is too small for home. Annual service means nothing, they dont clean the coils on the inside or out units. Be warned. Dont be fooled by the other reviewer, he or she most probably works for the firm. These people are cowboys, makes me wonder how they are still in business.
Highly Recommended Cox heating and air has honest and reliable employees that are professional and curteous. I would highly recommended them. They priced and installed a new air handler for us within a week and we are cool again!
Johnny on the spot! This company is "Johnny on the spot" they are courteous, professional and prompt. Our unit went down in the heat of the summer and they brought us a portable unit until they could get the new one installed. I would highly recommend them, no wonder they have business for such a long time!!!
