Took our family of six to dinner one night while at the beach (7:30 on a week night). The restaurant is very run down but I held hope that the food would make up for the lack in decor/cleanliness. Sadly, not so... They had only a few tables with people, yet the first half of our food took over 45 minutes to be delivered to the table with no replenishment of our hush puppies or beverages. We spent the day at the beach and we were trying to find some place the family could get some good food. My family can be difficult when they want to eat. So I did a search on my phone and Cox Family Restaurant came up with 4 1/2 Stars. The service and food was great. I highly recommend. My family really enjoyed it. Thanks Cox Family Restaurant we will return again and again.

Great food, incredible pricing and excellent service. Only negative is finding a parking spot for this outstanding restaurant.
