Best burger in a long time! Wonderful stage too. I can't believe I've never been there.
An excellent place to eat any meal if you are looking for home style cooking with specials changed daily! The staff that serve customers is very professional and courteous! I eat lunch at Cox Restaurant most week days.

Good country everyday food like your grandmother would fix. Good portion size and friendly atmosphere.
I'm probably biased - but I do like Cox's...the food is basic comfort food - preparation isn't always consistent, but then, neither is food cooked at home. The waitstaff is friendly, efficient and attentive. It's a great place to meet and share a meal and time with friends...and don't feel like they're going to throw you out if you tie up a table too long. Best place to eat breakfast in Morehead City. Staff is very friendly and food tastes wonderful.
While on vacation at Atlantic Beach NC this is our favorite go to place for home cooked meals.
