I have supported the Cowlitz people since I was a little girl and always will. I'm now 63 and have seen many good things come about for the Cowlitz. I had Cowlitz children in my Indian education class before they were ever recognized. We were taught a cedar wrapping ceremony by a Cowlitz Indian friend in my class.
