My friend and I have been in search of the best burger in New Orleans and so far Cowbell holds that title. They even have the best buns. The only appetizer I've had was the figgy toast which consists of croutons with a bleu cheese on them and figs mixed with sausage. Amazing. They always have really great looking specials. I'll be going back this Saturday to try something new!

My husband and I were just wondering around and got tired of walking. I happend to see this place and we dicided to stop and have a drink. The wine was great, the establishment was charming and had tons of character. We got a couple appitizers and they were also very good. The chili cheese fries were awesome!!!

Ok ill confess I initially passed on this place because the name was so stupid and didn't invoke any sense of appetizing food, just a SNL skit... I am sorry for not having tried it sooner during my visit because I would have come again. The food was very good quality and very good. I had the savory adult grilled cheese, so much better than any grilled cheese sandwich on earth! They make delicious mac n cheese and the apple pie is just scrumptious! Give them a chance you won't be disappointed!

This is some of the best food in New Orleans -- imaginative and fabulous! This chef is a genius as far as I am concerned. The quirky staff and atmosphere just adds to the experience. I highly recommend this place.

Cowbell is located at the end of Oak Street in what looks like an old gas station, but I don't think that's quite right. Anyway, it is a funky looking place, some tables outside for good weather and decent seating inside as well. Full bar available. I was in with my wife for lunch. She had a curry soup and grilled cheese. I had the cheeseburger and fries. We had an orange ice-box cake slice for dessert. My wife loved the soup, I don't care for curry, so I take her word for it. OK, so its a grilled cheese---but no, this is mu... read more
