Huge shout out to all the solo practitioners out there! I flew to Chicago for work today and lost a contact lens before I boarded my plane. Dr. Barber and his staff emailed me my prescription so I could get a replacement pair. After calling several big stores trying to locate my brand (not in stock), I called one solo doctor. His staff said they didn’t carry my brand but they would be happy to give me a sample pair. Just an excellent example of how supporting independent practices pays off in customers service!!!
