I would give them zero stars if I could. My dog accidentally ate a toxic amount of chocolate, and they said if she wasn't a current customer they wouldn't take her or talk to us. really??? so it's fine to let my dog die even though I'd been to their clinic quite a bit in the distant past? If I'm not a current customer, it's tough luck, kid. We'll let your darling dog die. I can only hope this happens to them.
Dr. Chaves is an excellent veterinarian. He's kind and has always given my Chihuahua, Pearl, his complete attention. When I took Pearl in for an ear exam, Dr. Chaves noticed a heart murmur and knee joint problems that I wouldn't have known about. I was really impressed with Dr. Chaves' attentiveness and his excellent advise and treatment. It feels good to have a vet that I have total confidence in. I never know how to find the right vet for my wonder dog and our cat. I went to Covington Creek, not knowing much about them, but what a great find -- I recommend them highly. Dr. Chaves is brilliant, and he's also warm to the pet and the owner - a great combination in a vet. He never hurts the dog to find out what's going on... so right away our dog feels comfortable with him. No animals crying in the background, so I feel comfortable.
