Wilmington Eye overbooks patients and there is always a long wait. <5 min with Dr Covington and remainder spent with techs. Sort of like he comes in to “approve” what the techs have done. Sign of the times I suppose. Rescheduled a return visit to “talk about cataract surgery” then return just get a glasses prescription. Dr Covington is nice enough, but the practice as a whole has grown too big for their britches. MD depends way too much on techs, too long wait times. I have been a patient of Dr. Covington for a little over two years. He is an excellent doctor and explains things where one can understand what is going on with your eyes. Highly recommend him
Had to go back due to scratch on eye. Took care of me fast. Dr Covington is a very good doctor.
I was leary about changing doctors. My prior doctor was 3 hours away since I moved. I thought I would continue traveling once a year to see him but decided it wasn't practical. Wilmington Eye was recommended by a friend. Dr. Covington sat and explained my test results clearly. He was very patient and answered every question I came up with. He told me I had the start of macular degeneration which I didn't put on my questionaire or tell the tech. After that I felt I made a good choice. I will continue with this doctor.
Had my annual eye exam. Easy registration process, testing, explanations and updates throughout my visit with Dr. Covington and his team.
Dr. Covington is wonderful I've being going to him for several years . He is always considerate and kind . He takes time to talk to you and explain what is going on if you have questions. I will and I do recommend him to all my family and friends .
Dr. Covington is very personable and professional. He makes sure to answer all questions and explains things well. The office in general is pleasant and staff is helpful and friendly.
