I just read a mind my numbingly inaccurate article about PWC’s written by this websites Susan J., comparing the top 3 PWC manufactures and their pros and cons. This article is so packed full of inaccurate regurgitated nonsense it pissed me off to the point I wanted to write a 400 page response. However, more annoying was the fact that there was no ability to post comments! This alone tells me this website is a big pile of garbage not worth paying attention to!
I got my boat cover last week, I was a little disappointed when the poles were not included in the purchase, (you have to buy them separate) but at the price of $600+ dollars I think it should be included. Also I did not noticed there are no vents in the cover. When I order it on line it only showed one side of the boat picture, so I assumed that was a sample for my boat. Recently purchased a Bimini Top for my boat from Boat Covers Direct. Could not be happier with the quality and value. Customer service is terrific. Will be using Boat Covers Direct for all my future canvas needs. Henry P South Florida
Ordered a boat lift canopy yesterday. Site says in stock, great price, free shipping, hoping this all works out and is true.
Ordered a book cover . Called before I placed the order to confirm the return policy. I was informed that it could be returned for a full refund as long as I paid return shipping. Received the boat cover within a couple of days . Unfortunately , it did not fit. Called to obtain a return number. I was informed I had to pay 15% restocking fee ($80.00) and pay shipping ($45) because the cover was semi custom. Obviously, it was not custom made for my boat. It did not fit and arrived within a couple of days.
The website said delivery in 3 to 5 days but they didn't even ship my bimini top out for 5 days. When I confronted them thet said it wasn't their issue and didn't care . This is one of those businesses that scams you. Don't buy from them
I ordered what was described as a "custom" cover for a Frontier 180. Clearly it was not custom as the manufacturer identification written on the label was 18' skiff. It wasn't even close to a fit and was obviously for a much wider boat. It was not straightforward getting a refund and I had to pay return shipping. If I wanted an off the shelf cover I can get one for less than a quarter of the price. I would never use this company again and I do not recommend them.
