I can't say enough good things about Covenant Spine & Neurology. I came to them after dealing with persistent occipital nerve pain for over a year following a neck/head injury. I had already tried physical therapy, chiropractic care, massage, multiple rounds of Botox, medications, and nerve blocks without lasting relief. Short version - highly recommend Dr. Alyson Bryant. Finally got an accurate diagnosis, NOT just ‘lower back pain/unspecified’. Dx with arthritis. Got various injections that didn’t work. Getting radio frequency ablation (burning through nerves causing pain) next week. Details: Dr. Bryant got me through all the preliminaries required by my insurance company: X-rays of my back; 2 attempts at fixing pain with very painful injections of some medication; etc. It was determined I needed more extreme treatment. I was really looking forward to this appointment, as they had such great reviews. I have a suspected instability in my cervical spine and wanted a neurologist who took it seriously. I did not find that at Covenant. I waited an hour before being taken back to a small room with just a few chairs and a window. I waited an additional 50 minutes until I was moved to a new room that looked more like their break room with a huge machine in it. Updating to keep the review current (3 years after our first visit to Dr. Bryant, still Five Stars!) Dr. Bryant is a healer in every sense of the word. She has taken brilliant care of my mother, who is 78 and deals with memory loss on top of many physical issues. Dr. Bryant is patient, empathetic, and caring, and provides wonderful management of my mother's pain. She uses every PM tool available to help my mom and is available if we need her "after hours."
