Hire more staff that can help attend to the number of the elderly people who are living there which can not stand up by themselves to use the potty alone, or get on it alone. If they could they would not be living there.
We are so blessed to be able to do rehab at covenant Place of Sumter. The staff has been absolutely wonderful and do everything they can to make the patient comfortable and also the family members who were visiting. My mother has had to go to covenant Place rehab twiceIn in the past couple of years and the last time she said I want to go there because they make you feel like you’re apart of their family and at home.
Every staff member I've encountered has been compassionate and caring concerning my mother. Some days are more difficult than others, but I can always count on Mom to get the care and attention needed when I'm not there. I have the greatest appreciation for this community.
I'm hoping I can just go ahead and reserve my spot here, ahead of time! Beautiful place, wonderful staff who truly care about the people- and the food is so good, I wish they'd let people order, who don't live there! :)
